Thomsons Tower

ACT assisted Dr Neil's Garden Trust to secure funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund, Historic Scotland and the National Trust for Scotland to restore this important B listed William H Playfair building on the edge of Duddingston Loch.

Previously home to the Duddingston Curling Society and where the rules of curling were cast in stone, the tower will be converted to form an Interpretation Centre to enhance current interpretation of the garden as well as interpreting the history of curling.

Client: Dr Neil's Garden Trust
