We managed to raise nearly £4,000 (including gift aid) at the event.

| We need your Donations - We must raise an additional £40,000 by 22 July 2008 for the project to go ahead. If you decide to make a donation - please consider completing a Gift Aid Form. For details of how to make a donation - please call Tel 0131-656-0700. Thank you. |
The Trust has been awarded an indicative Building Repairs Grant from Historic Scotland towards Greenlaw Town Hall, Greenlaw, Berwickshire of £500,000. The grant award from Historic Scotland is the postive seal of approval needed to take the project development forward. However, in order to uptake this grant the Trust must raise a further £430,000 by June 2008.
I am pleased to announce that Historic Scotland at their Meeting in July - have confirmed that SHBT have met the first condition of raising the required £430,000 and are now working towards the next deadline of raising the remainder of the monies by November 2008. The first step in securing the future of Greenlaw Town Hall was reached thanks to the support of local landowners, businesses and the village.
We are now investigating European Regional Development Funding, applying to a number of Charitable Trust and hosting further fund raising events in order to secure the further £1 million.
