Colinton Bothy, Dell Road, Edinburgh (1983)

A small 'C' listed stone bothy in the churchyard of Colinton Kirk. The building was unused and derelict when the congregation approached CCT. Using the revolving fund, a grant from Historic Scotland and a low-interest loan from The Architectural Heritage Fund, CCT restored the building into a single dwelling. The challenge here was to ensure that the building was appropriate to the still-functioning churchyard.
