Strathleven House, Dunbartonshire (1986-2001)

The abandoned and derelict 'A' listed building was purchased by SHBT in 1986. It was originally built in 1700 by James Smith for William Cochrane of Kilmarnock, and is situated close to the area now designated "Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park".

During WWII the house and park were requisitioned and an industrial estate was developed on its land, which still exists today. After many restoration phases it was opened in 2001 as a business incubation centre.

The businesses housed within it are continuing to flourish proving Strathleven House can offer a versatile and accessible facility within a splendid period piece.
