Please Help Save Greenlaw Town Hall
The Trust has been awarded an indicative Building Repairs Grant from Historic Scotland towards Greenlaw Town Hall, Greenlaw, Berwickshire of £500,000. The grant award from Historic Scotland is the postive seal of approval needed to take the project development forward.
PLEASE HELP SAVE GREENLAW TOWN HALL The Historic Scotland Grant is only available to us if we can secure £400,000 by the end of June. We now have an extension to 22 July 2008 - and require to raise a further £40,000 in order to secure this grant. If you feel you can help save this building from demolition - please can you down load this form and sent us a donation with Gift Aid Declaration. You help is most appreciated.
We are pleased to announce that at their Meeting in July, Historic Scotland, advised us that we had achieved our first deadline, however, we still require to raise an addional £1 million by November 2008 for the project to succeed. We are currently investigating European Regional Development Funding, applying to various Charitable Trusts and will be hosting a number of fund raising events. The raising of the £430,000 was achivieved due to the support of local landownerss, businesses and villagers.
